What a difference a day makes! Monday and Tuesday the greens were tined and cleared then, today, they are being cut, treated with pesticides before being top dressed and all back in play by the weekend.

We here some of you asking why it is being done now, when the greens are so good? Well hopefully you remember we have done this in August for the last two years and because it is in the peak growing season they recover quicker and the holes heal over unlike when we did it in October / November time. It also pro longs the playing season with the greens in a good playable condition. We thank you for your patience and understanding over this matter but feel the longer term benefits are definitely worthwhile.
