George Sargent was the Professional at our club from 1902 to 1906. In 1909 he won the US Open, and in 1912 the Canadian Open, as well as gaining other great golfing achievements.
The competition will be played over 36 holes, both played on Saturday, for the title of Club Champion. The winner will have their name on the new trophy which has been provided by the Captain, Rick Towler.
A score board will be on display during the day, with a ‘live scoreboard’ for the afternoon round provided by helpers on walkie talkies.
We hope you can support the event and players, especially during the final round, it would be great to see a gallery on the course watching the action, or at the 19th watching the players finish their round, and the presentation to the winner, and club champion’.
